Our awesome bush camp day!

On our bush camp day, we got to do lots of olden day stuff.

Cooking piklets using a tin can and a candle to cook it.
It tasted yum!

We made bivouacs using sticks and lashing them together

We made a stretcher to carry injured people out of the bush. We had to work together to carry them. It was fun riding in the stretcher!

We worked as a team to carry heavy logs over an obstacle course.

We did some orienteering around the school to find markers

We played some old games

We did some sawing. It was hard work!

We learned how to hammer in nails, watch out for your fingers!

We used a hatchet to chop wood!

Last of all we got to build and light a fire. We used the wood we cut to feed the fire.

What an amazing day! We had a great time working with the Room 14 kids that planned, organised and ran the bush camp day for us. Thank you!
