Goodbye

Today our class is sad to say goodbye to Charleigh and Mason. They have both moved house and will be going to different schools next term. We hope they have a good time and visit our blog to say hi.

Mr Robot

We are learning how to programme a tricky robot. We built him ourselves from Lego mind storms he can do heaps of stuff like follow sound, see red and blue balls and stop when there is something in the way. We are still learning and investigating

Bee Bot programming

We are learning how to programme robots. We use bee bots and cars to folllow a road. We can design a road for the bee bots and programme them to go round it.

Easter baskets

This week we made Easter baskets. We got 5 pieces of one colour and 5 pieces of another colour. We learned how to weave them together. You put one piece waving under and over the other colours.

Next we carefully stapled the sides together to make a basket

We made handles for it so we can carry it

Last we made a bow and put chocolates in it.

We are not allowed to keep them. We are doing a secret Santa to give them to someone in the class.

Tangaroas Gift

Spinach

I planted some pansies in the hanging basket. They were yellow and black. We needed to put the roots in carefully into the basket. Then we covered them with dirt. I liked it. They look pretty. We put some daffodil bulbs in the ground. They were brown and stinky but they will be beautiful flowers when they grow.

Gardening

on Wednesday  room8 did some planting. it was so cool and Oliver Connor holly Samuel got to do planting a basket. Oliver and Holly said this was hard. So every one else was planting and we got the same got job, some doing the baskets and some doing the planter.   Jaymee  forgot were was the rubbish thing  for the old dead flowers and the planting is hard  but we had fun.

This  year  we  planted our  hanging  baskets   we  planted   pansy  and  spinci.  We  got  to  plant   lot''s   of  plant''s.  I  also  love  pebbles  come  out  of  the  cage  and i  also  love  my  teacher  because  she  is  so  nice. Pebbles came out so we could look at his feathers. We were reading about different feathers a bird has. Like some to keep warm and some to help him fly.

Term 1

This term i have loved having pebbles (the class bird.) out of his cage.I have also liked planting. Hailey comes in every Monday.we always have lots and lots of fun. Hailey is also very funny.we like going to the library but most of all we love ICT. We have it every Friday.We have to have buddies.we all get a turn.we go on:sumdog,blogger,google,and all those kind of things.there are lots of others but for now...  The end.

All about plants

 yesterday we plarnted sum plarnts it was reley fun evrybodey liked it.                                                        it was dertey eswall . We planted some spinach and silver beet. I liked getting dirty hands. I used to do gardening with my mum.

    Wednesday  room 8 did gardening we  planted spinach  -pansey  -silverbeet   - daffodils  - coriander and lots of other veges.

this week we went swimming it was fun as we were flouting on our backs and front it was amazing

my week

This week I enjoyed gardening because I got to plant spinach,daffodils and pansies and I got to water them as well.I felt nervous because I have never planted before I have a little bit of experience from my mum  because she plants everyday and I sometimes help her to plant some seeds.I like to water them alone and I like taking and eating strawberries because it is juicy and delicious.
 

Rongoa garden

  on Wednesday  room8  did  planting flowers, aloe Vera  and pansies spinach. some  people put aloe Vera  at the rongoa garden. Aloe Vera can be used for medicine so it went to the medicine garden.

My week

This week my class did gardening on Wednesday. My class did most of the gardening because I was aloud too play on the computer as it was my turn for the sumdog competition. but I still got to plant one of the plants because my turn was over when we were doing the one I planted so I got lucky enough to plant atleast one of the plants.We planted some spinach and pansies and the one that I did dafadills it was fun when we did the gardening we had to dig and cover it up again to make grow. Naomi explained what the dafadills mean when the dafadills sprout. It means that spring is here.

This week we did gardening. I put spinach in a hanging basket and pansys. in my group was Brooklyn dennon and couper.

the ice dragon

One dark and spooky night there was an ice dragon with  big black  terrifing  spikes coming out of its head . And ice sharp  wings with two big sharp  pointy  spikes  at the top of her wings. She lives the  a big ice snowy dark woods she is the queen of the forest and she hides in her cave . At morning she hides  in her ice see through cave that sparkles in the sunlight . She is the queen of ice who is the ice dragon  she is the queen forever .
